League of Legends Season 2 Tournament rewards

Summoners!

With League of Legends fans setting viewership records in the Western world for the League of Legends Season One Championship, we're as excited as you are to kick Season Two off in style. As you've helped us become one of the most popular online titles to date, we thought it was only appropriate that League of Legends Season Two should boast the largest prize pool in eSports.

The League of Legends Season Two prize pool will feature a record setting $5 million prize pool!

The thriving eSports community surrounding League of Legends continues to grow at an incredible pace, and it?s the enthusiasm of competitors from across the globe that has engendered this special opportunity. And with League of Legends featured as an official title in such landmark eSports organizations as Major League Gaming, Electronic Sports League, and the World Cyber Games, this substantially increased prize pool is just the first glimpse into what we have planned for the upcoming season.

The money will be funding prizing for local, national and international tournaments to foster and grow the League of Legends eSports scene. For starters, the new season will feature weekly livestreams of our ongoing regional tournaments in North America, and across both European enviornments, so stay tuned for more information on these broadcasts and to see a lot more of League of Legends enthusiasts like Phreak, Rivington III and Nikasaur.

League of Legends Season Two is coming this fall, summoners! And with $5 million on the line this time around, the League of Legends eSports scene just got even more exciting!

Champion Sneak Peek: Talon, The Shadow's Blade

It takes a truly resourceful gentleman to seamlessly combine function and style, particularly on the battlefield. It should come as no surprise, then, that the upcoming champion of the League is a man of both utility and flair.

Allow me to introduce Talon, The Shadow's Blade. In addition to looking every bit the part of the cloaked and cowled assassin that he is, Talon's cloak of blades makes him a dangerous and terrifying presence on the battlefield. It's probably best to steer clear of this this cloaked and dangerous champion on the Field of Justice, or he won't be the only one pulling a disappearing act.

Looks like a pretty interesting champs, assassins are always fun to play :3

Brazilians in LoL and other games

So after my experiences with many Brazilians I have come across in games, I feel like most of them are just really bad at games. Any explanation?

They come in, rage, troll, and just ruin the whole experience. Not to be racist or anything, its just an observation. Why are Brazilians bad at games like LoL?

Honestly, can I get some insight into why they're so bad? I've only met one good Brazilian player ever, mind you he was from Brazil and he currently lives there, yet he can speak (not too well) and type English.
These are literally the only foreigners that ever seem to be in my games, I'd much rather get some Chinese or Japanese pug.

Special note: Keep in mind here that I'm not saying they're the only thing that ruin games. Just that every time a Brazilian is in the game I'm in, he/she's God freaking awful.

The only good Brazilians are the ones you'll never notice. They'll speak **** near perfect english and play well.

The others are illiterate, have **** internet, and don't really take it serious.

F2P games has that problem where they can't filter out the hurrdurr people. No matter Brazilian, Korean, or English.

EDIT: I know not ALL are like this, im just generalizing so don't take this as a personal attack

Athene on LoL

Athene on Lol? Well, I wasn't going to blog about Athene playing LoL again, but when I saw his live stream, I had to write more about it. First, for people that want to know Athene's lol account name, he plays on EU servers so i'm sure that I won't be able to play there due to the lag. His account name is AtheneOnYoutube, and he's always playing with this guy named Kez. Sometime's his girl joins in (yeah she's really bad... standard for a girl though) to play with him. Athene wasn't too great when I watched him play league of legends. Every game i've seen him play was with Ryze, and he doesn't even do it properly. I mean of course he's only played for a week, so I guess he's doing okay for just starting. By no means he will be #1 like he says he will.

He hasn't played any ranked games from the last time I saw, so he has no rank yet. He just plays with some random scrubs that talk on his IRC chat.

here's some recent Athene league of legends footage if you're in for a laugh.

Lee Sin, The Blind Monk

So basically, gonna blog quickly about this new champion that was released on April 1. If you have half a brain, you would not waste your IP to play him. From the past 20 games i've seen with him in it, he would always be negative in score. I'm not sure if its cause of the player, or just cause hes useless. In theory he looks like he could be a great champion, but from what ive seen, he is terrible.

At least he looks pretty cool, reminds me of the diablo 3 Monk
